There are very few games that has gripped me nearly as much as Hyrule Warriors has. I started playing this game when it first released in 2014 for the Wii U, I moved on the New 3ds Version of it because I wanted to experience the new features along with all of the new content portably, and finally I bought it again for my switch because of the graphical enhancements. Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition lives up to its name in the sense that it takes everything good about the Wii U and 3ds versions of the game and puts them into one big package on the switch.

The Roster is varied and fun
Hyrule Warriors D. E. is a game in which the goal is to make you feel like the most powerful person on God’s green earth by slaying thousands upon thousands of enemies as one of 30 of your favorite Legend of Zelda characters, and it succeeds in that immensely. Each character feels incredibly fun to play and the battles are very quick to beat making it really good to play on the go. The graphics are pretty decent with particular love and attention going to the character models and their many alternate costumes. There are plenty of rock remixes of classic Zelda Tunes, and I feel like all of them are incredibly good. While the hack and slash gameplay can get repetitive after so many
hours of playing it, I don’t particularly find that a problem. I feel like this game is best played while listening to a podcast or a tv show which is what I tend to do which keeps me occupied through the monotony. If you can handle a little repetition or play games like I do, then this game should be a must have for any system you can get it for.
