Mega Man 11 Review

Mega Man is A series that I’ve long since adored ever since I got the X remake for my PSP when I was a kid. After that, I played The Mega man Collections on PS2 religiously and played a bit of 9 and 10 on my Xbox. After that, however, the Mega

The 8 Robot Masters of This Game

Man series went dormant until Mega Man 11 released 8 years later and if the next games in the series are this good, I hope they don’t take as long to come out. Mega Man 11 is a game where you send the titular blue bomber to defeat Dr. Wily. In order to do this, though, you need to defeat all 8 of his robot masters. I like the robot masters in this game. They each have a distinct personality, they have cool designs, and the actual fights against them, and the levels leading up to them, are fun and challenging. After Defeating a boss, you then absorb that bosses’ power and get a new weapon to use. These weapons are probably some of the most versatile and fun in the series so far, and I had a blast using them all. The new gimmick for this game is the double gear system which allows you to power up your weapons or slow down time. I think this mechanic is amazing and incredibly well utilized throughout the game.

The art style is very good. While it ditches the 8-bit style 9 and 10 had, it replaces it with a vibrant, colorful 3d art style that I would love to see continue in future games. Overall, I think Mega Man 11 is wonderful and, for a cheaper than average price, is a must buy for platforming fans.

One of My Favorite Levels in the game is also one of the prettiest in my opinion.
